Arthritis and Turmeric

There are several recent studies that show that turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties and modifies immune system responses. A clinical trial performed in 2010 found that a turmeric supplement called Meriva provided long-term improvements in pain and function in 100 patients with knee osteoarthritis.
