Job Description

The Account Manager acts as the direct contact for the fund staff of their assigned groups. They are responsible for proficiently solving issues in a timely manner and maintaining a strong, long-lasting client relationship. The Account Manager is responsible for generating proposals and group implementation including onboarding of new groups and client renewals.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Operate as the lead point of contact for your designated groups
  • Build and maintain durable client relationships
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to client needs
  • Assist with high severity requests and escalate issues as needed
  • Identify and grow opportunities and collaborate with sales team to ensure attainment
  • Handle implementation of new groups and continued renewals
  • Manage Carrier relationships
  • Entering and updating data in CRM software
  • Ability to travel for client meetings and events

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 6+ years of related Account Management Experience
  • Computer Skills including Microsoft Office – specifically Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Taft-Hartley and/or multiemployer Health funds
