Job Description

Retiree Advocates acts as the healthcare concierges for high touch member concerns. Advocates are the face of Labor First, LLC and responsible for making a lasting impression on members. Retiree Advocates should have excellent customer service skills and be attentive, patient, courteous, and quick-thinking.

Primary Responsablity

  • Answering all phone calls that come in from members, member’s family members, doctor offices, hospitals, clients, and the insurance carriers.
  • Assisting members with all their health insurance needs, such as, ordering new cards, reviewing bills from providers, pricing on drugs or coverage of services. Additional member advocates are responsible for assisting member with mail order pharmacies, prior authorizations, step therapies, tier exceptions and many other questions they may have.
  • Maintaining all of the spreadsheets, tracking, and billing of each local.
  • Printing and Binding of Sales Team Presentations.
  • Ordering of Supplies and Contacts for Office Equipment.
  • Assisting in projects needed for new cases.
  • Weekly meetings within the company and with our Insurance Carries.

Required Qualifications

College Education – Associates Degree

Customer Service Experience

RX or Medical Field Experience

Life & Health License (If not a current Licensee –must be obtained)

Skilled in Excel, Word, and with PC’s



Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual Spanish Speaking

Certified Pharmacy Technician
